Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply when you use doorsteppros.com or any website operated by Doorstep Pros ("we", "us"). By using our sites or submitting a request, you agree to them.

What we do

Doorstep Pros is a free matching service for homeowners. We pass your request to an independent local contractor who may be able to help. We are not a contractor, we do not perform any work, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a contractor.

Contractors are independent

Contractors are independent businesses, solely responsible for their quotes, work, licensing, permits, insurance, warranties and conduct. We ask contractors to confirm they are licensed and insured where required, but we do not guarantee it. Please verify a contractor's credentials and get a written estimate before hiring.

No guarantee of a match

We try to match every request, but we cannot promise that a contractor will be available in your area, will contact you, or will offer a particular price or schedule.

Your information

You agree to give accurate information and to only submit requests for property you own or are authorized to arrange work on. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Communications

By submitting a request, you agree that we and the matched contractor may contact you about it by phone, text or email, which may include automated technology. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse our sites, submit false or automated requests, or try to disrupt or access our systems without permission.

Disclaimers

Our sites and service are provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, and we are not liable for any work performed or not performed by a contractor, or for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of our service.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use our sites means you accept the updated terms.
